Call Filter Alarm (the "Service", "Application" or "app") is an app provided by Piz Android (“we”, “us”, “our”, or “Piz Android”).
When you use this Application, some Personal Data are collected as further described below.
If you choose to use this app, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy.
*** 03/03/2019 UPDATE ***
Starting from version 1.10.7 published in the Play Store on 03/03/2019, Call Filter Alarm is retired. Although the app becomes useless, it still uses the following permissions to work until the user is warned of the deactivation that occurs with the update (in case the update happens during sleep mode enabled).
In a future update, all permissions will be removed and Call Filter Alarm will be totally useless.
Even if Call Filter Alarm is no longer supported, since this version still uses the permissions, the privacy policy is still available.
Permissions required and why:
Call Filter Alarm requires some authorizations to work. Here is described what they are and why.
We do not knowingly collect or transfer outside your phone any personal data accessed through these permissions.
Permissions requested below are only used to provide functionality within Call Filter Alarm.
- READ_PHONE_STATE: required for the call filter
- READ_CONTACTS: required for contacts selection
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: required for play ringtone or notification tone in case it is stored on external storage
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: required for restore alarms on phone boot
- CHANGE_WIFI_STATE: required for wifi managing
- ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: required for check wifi state
- VIBRATE: required for vibration
- BLUETOOTH and BLUETOOTH_ADMIN: required for bluetooth managing
- ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY: required to exit the Don't disturb profile (needed to restore ringer mode)
What other information are collected?
We may collect Personal Data freely provided from users (such as name and lastname, email address) when they personally decide to contact us via email. Contacting us requires user action (needs to be explicitly send from the user’s mail application) and users may review any information prior sending and decide whether they want to disclose it with us or not.
We use Google GMail (email service) to handle and store email. Place of processing is USA
Users are responsible for any third-party Personal Data eventually provided and confirm that they have the third party's consent to provide the Data to the Owner.
What are your information used for?
The Data concerning the User is collected to allow us to provide our services.
The information provided when contacting us is not used for any other purpose than resolving the reported problems, answering to Users information requests, and proving a better functionality and services to our users.
All Data requested by this Application is mandatory and failure to provide this Data may make it impossible for this Application to provide its services. In cases where this Application specifically states that some Data is not mandatory, Users are free not to communicate this Data without any consequences on the availability or the functioning of the service.
Any use of Cookies – or of other tracking tools – by this Application or by the owners of third-party services used by this Application serves the purpose of providing the service required by the User, in addition to any other purposes described in the present document.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our services, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
Place
The Data is processed at the Data Controller's operating offices in Italy and in any other places where the parties involved with the processing are located.
Retention time
The Data is kept for the time necessary to provide the service requested by the User, or stated by the purposes outlined in this document, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Please note that some data may be further retained if necessary to comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
Security Of Data
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Data, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children").
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your Children has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our records.
Cookies
Cookies are files with small amount of data that is commonly used an anonymous unique identifier. These are sent to your browser from the website that you visit and are stored on your device internal memory.
This Application does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collection information and to improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse these cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.
System logs and maintenance
For operation and maintenance purposes, this Application and any third-party services may collect files that record interaction with this Application (System logs) or use for this purpose other Personal Data (such as IP Address).

Changes to this privacy policy:
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes using the link provided in the Google Play Store or (if available) in the app, and referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom.
If a User objects to any of the changes to the Policy, the User must cease using this Application and can request that the Data Controller remove the Personal Data. Unless stated otherwise, the then-current privacy policy applies to all Personal Data the Data Controller has about Users.
Misc
Call Filter Alarm is partially provided via App Stores and their associated infrastructure, among others for push messages to the User as well as the billing and management of paid features. The User shall use such App Stores independent from Piz Android and the respective Privacy Policies shall apply.
Personal Data
Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
Usage Data
Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

Data Controller
Data Controller means a person who (either alone or jointly or in common with other persons) determines the purposes for which and the manner in which any personal data are, or are to be, processed.
For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, we are a Data Controller of your data.

Starting from version 1.10.4 published in the Play Store on 05/23/2018, Call Filter Alarm no longer uses advertising services. Remember to keep the app up-to-date to make sure you are using the latest version. If you are using previous versions, please update the app. Although this Privacy Policy always refers to the latest version of Call Filter Alarm, for transparency, advertising services will still be mentioned for a while in this privacy policy, highlighting them crossed-out
Personal Data collected automatically through third-party Service Providers and for the following purposes

ADVERTISING (only free version)
The app does use third party services to display advertising communication in the form of banners and other advertisements, possibly based on User interests.
We don’t store any data related to ads on our premises.
This type of services may collect information used to identify Users or they may use the behavioral retargeting technique, i.e. displaying ads tailored to the User’s interests and behavior, including those detected outside this Application.

AdMob by Google
AdMob is an advertising service provided by AdMob Google Inc. Please read this overview of how they use information from sites or apps that use their services.
